Federation will celebrate
its Silver Jubilee in Abu
Dhabi on October 29-30,
2024, with the presence of
Arab health ministers and
healthcare leaders.

The Arab Hospitals
Federation will hold its
annual
MedHealth Abu Dhabi Forum
this year in conjunction
with the celebration of its
Silver Jubilee on October
29-30, 2024, at the Conrad
Abu Dhabi - Etihad Towers,
Abu Dhabi, United Arab
Emirates. The event is
graciously sponsored and
attended by His Excellency
Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al
Nahayan, Member of Cabinet,
Minister of Tolerance and
Coexistence in UAE. This
celebration will bring
together several Arab health
ministers, decision-makers,
leaders, and policymakers
from the Arab healthcare
sector, along with the World
Health Organization - EMRO.
It marks a precious
occasion, through which the
Arab Hospitals Federation
will embark on a new journey
toward another twenty-five
years.
This forum is
held in collaboration with
the Arab health ministries,
the World Health
Organization for the Eastern
Mediterranean Region, the
Department of Health Abu
Dhabi, the Department of
Culture and Tourism, Abu
Dhabi Convention and
Exhibition Bureau, General
Authority for Healthcare in
Egypt, Egyptian Unified
Procurement Authority,
General Authority for
Healthcare Accreditation and
Regulation, Physicians and
Nursing Syndicates in Arab
countries, and many Arab
health organizations and
associations, including
Hamad Medical Corporation,
AmCham Abu Dhabi, and the
U.S.-UAE Business Council.
It is also supported by
PureHealth, the largest
integrated healthcare
network in the UAE, along
with Apex Health, one of the
investment holding companies
in Qatar and in partnership
with Viatris, Johnson &
Johnson, GE Healthcare,
Abbott, Malaffi and Intertek
Systems, with media
partnerships with Forbes

Due to the high
importance of this
celebration, which carries
the title "Honoring the
Past, Celebrating the
Present, and Shaping the
Future," it has been
designed as a platform and
occasion for networking
among all stakeholders and
key players in the Arab
healthcare sector. The event
will feature a high-level
opening ceremony that
includes speeches from His
Excellency Sheikh Nahayan
Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister
of Tolerance and
Coexistence, and His
Excellency Professor Khaled
Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime
Minister for Human
Development and Minister of
Health and Population of the
Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the opening ceremony,
appreciation awards and
certificates for the Gold
Initiative will be
distributed.
In
addition, five diverse
circles will be organized: a
ministerial panel discussion
with health ministers, a
visionary circle with health
leaders and chairmen of
health authorities, a circle
with CEOs from Arab
Hospitals, a circle with
healthcare disruptors who
have made significant
changes in the traditional
healthcare landscape by
providing innovative
solutions, creative
initiatives, or new business
models, and a dedicated
circle on patient safety.
The forum will feature
delegations from Arab
countries represented by
health ministers, the
Regional Director of the
World Health Organization,
chairmen of Arab health
authorities, CEOs from
hospitals, physicians,
administrators, and
healthcare workers from
various countries, including
the United States, the
United Kingdom, France,
Germany, Belgium, India, and
others, as well as from Arab
nations such as Saudi
Arabia, the United Arab
Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait,
Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon,
Jordan, and others.
On the second day, the
agenda includes a field
visit to Sheikh Shakhbout
Medical City, where
participants will learn
about the most successful
experiences in UAE
healthcare institutions. The
aim is to share these
insights with all Arab
countries and explore
promising opportunities for
advancing health.
