(ABU DHABI) - The Arab Hospitals Federation will hold its annual MedHealth Abu Dhabi Forum this year in conjunction with the celebration of its Silver Jubilee on October 29-30, 2024, at the Conrad Abu Dhabi - Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The event is graciously sponsored and attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Member of Cabinet, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence in UAE. This celebration will bring together several Arab health ministers, decision-makers, leaders, and policymakers from the Arab healthcare sector, along with the World Health Organization - EMRO. The event will feature a high-level opening ceremony that includes speeches from His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and His Excellency Professor Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population of the Arab Republic of Egypt. During the opening ceremony, appreciation awards and certificates for the Gold Initiative will be distributed.

In addition, five diverse circles will be organized: a ministerial panel discussion with health ministers, a visionary circle with health leaders and chairmen of health authorities, a circle with CEOs from Arab Hospitals, a circle with healthcare disruptors who have made significant changes in the traditional healthcare landscape by providing innovative solutions, creative initiatives, or new business models, and a dedicated circle on patient safety.

The forum will feature delegations from Arab countries represented by health ministers, the Regional Director of the World Health Organization, chairmen of Arab health authorities, CEOs from hospitals, physicians, administrators, and healthcare workers from various countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, India, and others, as well as from Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, and others.

On the second day, the agenda includes a field visit to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, where participants will learn about the most successful experiences in UAE healthcare institutions. The aim is to share these insights with all Arab countries and explore promising opportunities for advancing health.
