The Arab eHealth
Network, a Project eHealth
2015 initiative brought to you by ArabMedicare.com, will be
the region's first online knowledge exchange network aimed at
advancing the development of health information and technology
in Arab countries.
The forum will bring together manufacturers, suppliers,
hospitals, healthcare providers, government agencies, medical colleges and
universities, research institutions, international
organizations, insurance companies, and IT
consultants/developers to exchange ideas, share experiences,
network and build new relationships, access news and information
(articles, web casts, case studies, surveys/polls), training
& educational programs, and hard-to-find market research
data and studies about the Arab healthcare information,
communication, and technology market.
Objectives:
 To
create a main point of reference for the region's Healthcare IT
sector.
To
create an open environment for networking and sharing
experiences.
To
show how health information and communications technology can be
used to solve problems encountered by the Arab health sector by
learning from regional and international experiences.
To
provide access to the latest international developments in the
application of e-health strategies.
To
serve as a forum to recommend measures to enhance current
investments in information-based technology resources in Arab
countries.
To
help identify policy and program support frameworks that would
best facilitate the development of e-health services in Arab
countries.
To
create an online environment that
will facilitate new project developments, funding of research
initiatives, and advanced knowledge exchange forums.
The Arab eHealth Network
will also engage in conducting a series of online discussion
forums, conferences, and webinars relating to the key topics and
challenges confronting the region's Healthcare IT sector, as
well as, provide a host of valued-added member services. In
addition, a regional advisory board will be formed to help plan
and set the direction of the network for achieving success in
the market. And, opportunities will be made available for IT
companies to profile their products and services to a highly
targeted audience.
